Child & Family Services (CAFS) provides a divese range of services which include Family Services, Out of home care and support services, Family Violence Support & Men's Behaviour Change, Housing and Homelessness Support Services, Gambler's Help Services, Financial Counselling, Youth Care, Residential Care, and CAFS Thread Together Hub.

Activities

CAFS provides a number of services which include Family Services; in-home support, Day Stay Program, parenting and mentoring groups; Parenting Assistance and Skills Development Services (PADSD) for families referred by Child Protection, Families First & Child FIRST; Out of home care and support services; Family Violence Intervention & Family Support Programs, Housing Support Services, Gambler's Help Service, Financial Counselling, PACT programs (Housing advocacy and support), VCAT Duty Service.

Description

The Family Drug Helpline is a 24 hour service offering support, information strategies for change and referral to anyone affected by another's alcohol drug or gambling addiction. People calling the Helpline may be concerned about a relative, friend, workmate or neighbour. The drug of concern may be alcohol, an illegal substance, or a prescription drug. Gambling help for families and friends also available. The helpline is provided through a partnership between Family Drug Help, Turning Point Alc

Activities

We provide practical help, information and support to families and friends affected by someone's drinking, drug use or gambling. We deliver professional and peer-based services across Victoria including counselling, support groups, education programs and a 24-hour helpline from staff and volunteers with lived experience of supporting a loved one.

Relationships Australia aims to minimise the harm caused by gambling by:

* Providing counselling (including financial counselling) and information to help people with problem gambling.
* Providing community education resources and training
* Self-help kits and information available.
* Working with the governments, the gambling industry, private sector organisations, community agencies and groups, and researchers to develop responsible gambling policies and regulation.

Activities

A free confidential counselling service for people concerned about gambling issues relating to themselves or family members. No fees apply.
